Hi, my name is Ashley, and most people call me just that.  I am a lifestyle and commercial photographer, photo editor, and artist based in Long Island, NY.

 

I earned my Bachelors in fine arts and graphic design from Adelphi University.  From there I worked at a photography studio until  I was 32.  At the studio I became proficient at photoshop and retouching. 

 

As part of my chapter at the studio, I developed such a love for photography and the arts overall I started my own side business, "Medici Photography."  I love expressing myself through careful color, tone, and a keen eye.

 

After Covid I was furloughed from my job and started down a different path as an art teacher in the fall of 2020.  Now I teach art, photography, and graphic design at a religious High school on long island.  This has given me a further appreciation for different religions and gotten me in touch with my spirituality side.  I love meeting and photographing different people and telling a story through my work.  My paintings are consistently sold and were featured last summer at a local brewery in Long beach, NY.
